A pleasant ramble in the fresh air of the Peak District in what is a joint event with the Amber Valley Vegetarians and Vegans, based in Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire. The walk will take place in woodland and meadows and is probably around 5-6 miles in length. Bring along some veggie food and drink. We'll start at 10.30 a.m. in a car park at the edge of Silver Cliff Woods in Ambergate. If arriving on the A6 Derby-Matlock Road, turn left down Holly Lane at the Church, just before the Hurt Arms pub which is on the junction with the A610. Pass over the bridge and the car park is on the right. If arriving from Nottingham along the A610, turn left at the T-junction with the A6 (across from the Hurt Arms pub) then next right at the church and over the bridge. The Trent bus (Trans Peak) leaves the Broadmarsh bus station, Nottingham, at 9.10 and Derby at 9.40, arriving in Ambergate for 10.22. Everyone, including newcomers, welcome.
